Black beans make a great gluten-free cake.
Am I the only one who thinks that's crazy?
Recently, I looked up a recipe for one and we made one for the first time. (And by
we, I mean
she, our 13-year-old resident baker.) And it was really good.
Then, someone suggested adding chocolate chips, and it was uh-mazing. (Thanks, Jess!) Because, don't chocolate chips make
everything better?
It's been our go-to chocolate cake recipe lately, because it's
a. gluten-free
b. easy
c. flourless
d. and chocolate!
So I thought I'd share the link for the recipe, in case you want to try it. The only thing we did differently was add a *large* bag of chocolate chips. (Just add to pan before batter OR sprinkle on top of batter in pan.)

(Makes one 8-inch cake, single layer, or one sheet cake.)
Very handy for an after-school snack or an after-dinner dessert...
or, just a picnic for one. ;)

easy gluten-free cake recipe? We'd love to try it! :)
